PersonaMedia Incorporated as Rich Media Product Arm of Personification

TORONTO, Ontario, Canada - June 30, 1999 - Personification Inc. announced today the creation of a new company, PersonaMedia Inc., to package and promote Personification technologies. The decision, made during a sustained period of high growth for the firm, is designed to optimize the mechanisms through which Personification technologies are offered to customers. The newly formed PersonaMedia, headed by Personification CEO John Male, will combine popular core technologies and market them individually as separate products.

Personification is a Toronto-based research and development firm that has been using personalization techniques for the development of knowledge management, customer relation management, and mobile information technologies. High growth in the information technology sector, combined with a steady demand for Personification's services, prompted the company to seek a new avenue for the effective distribution of its services.

Earlier this month, PersonaMedia began offering rich media solutions through its Personalized Licensing Service (PLS) program. PLS packages are popular combinations of Personification core technologies that have been optimized for rapid deployment with minimal maintenance. The technologies include text summarization, automatic media categorization, personalization, and rich media content delivery. Within eighteen months, PersonaMedia expects to have introduced three new products to its offerings.
